Dr. Chuck Kutscher National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Dr. Chuck Kutscher is a Principal Engineer and Manager of the Thermal Systems Group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado where he leads research on parabolic trough solar collector systems and geothermal power. He is a Past Chair and Fellow of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES). He was General Chair of the SOLAR 2006 national solar energy conference held in Denver, which brought climate and energy experts together to address the climate change crisis and led to the publication of the ASES report, "Tackling Climate Change in the U.S". He is an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he developed and taught a course entitled “Climate Change Solutions.” He also writes a monthly column about climate change for SOLAR TODAY magazine. He has given many invited presentations around the country on climate change and renewable energy.
